An old variety it has seen decline in planting but is perfectly capable of making a fine albeit rustic and spicy wine. Former punk rocker and disc jockey turned winemaker, Brendan Tracey has embraced a low interventionist philosophy in his winery, without adding sulfites until maybe a minimal does at bottle, using native yeasts for
