The pitcher and spadix are both green with white stripes while the inside of the spathe is a nice contrasting white

which is a marked improvement from Hosta 'Guacamole' from which it mutated

Hosta Lederhosen Silene This is our first offeringHosta 'Lederhosen' is one of the more unique hostas ever hybridized by the late Herb Benedict. This 18" tall x 3' wide clump is composed of thick, rubbery, ruffled, blue green leaves which reminded Herb of leather britches (lederhosen). Anyone who would name one hosta 'Little Stiffy' and another 'Nooner', only makes one wonder about the real story behind 'Lederhosen'. In late summer, the clumps are topped with stalks of large, fragrant, light lavender
